Support NCPC
Preservation Philanthropy
Your financial donation to the North Carolina Preservation Consortium will help preserve our state's educational, cultural, and historical collections. Libraries, archives, museums, historic sites, and other heritage institutions in North Carolina need your help. NCPC is a 501(C) 3 non-profit organization that supports preservation with educational workshops and conferences, information and consultation service, and preservation grants. Your donation will fund preservation programs and projects for the proper care and handling of collections, appropriate storage and environmental control, disaster planning and preparedness, repair and conservation, reformatting, and collection security. Your financial contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Give now, and contribute to a legacy of literature, heritage, and knowledge for present and future generations.
Memorials
Donations may be given in honor or memory of someone special to you: an inspiring person, teacher, mentor, colleague, friend, relative, or loved one.
Matching Gift Programs
Ask your employer about matching contributions. Many employers offer a matching gift program for charitable giving. Some may even double your personal donation. Your employer can also assist by encouraging other employees to support the North Carolina Preservation Consortium.
Corporate Donations
Businesses may also make direct donations. NCPC supports the preservation of vital business records and corporate archives. Contributions are an investment in your business's legal and historical documentation, and also demonstrates support for your community's educational and cultural institutions. Donations may have business tax benefits and sponsoring the North Carolina Preservation Consortium offers many public relations opportunities.
Recognizing Gifts
Donors will be listed on the NCPC Preservation Web site by level of giving. Major financial gifts will be reported to news media and professional organizations with permission of the donor. Please contact the NCPC Executive Director to discuss other recognition opportunities. Donations may also be made anonymously upon request.
