Preservation Philanthropy

Support the N. C. Preservation Consortium

Your financial donation to the North Carolina Preservation Consortium will help preserve our state's educational, cultural, and historical collections. Archives, libraries, historic sites, museums, and record centers need your help. Their preservation needs are critical, and funding resources are limited. The North Carolina Preservation Consortium (NCPC) is a 501(C) 3 non-profit organization that supports preservation awareness through presentations, workshops, conferences, and individual consultations. Donations will fund preservation programs and projects for the proper care and handling of materials, storage and environmental control, disaster preparedness and salvage of damaged collections, repair and conservation, reformatting, and security. Your financial contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Give now, and contribute to a legacy of literature, heritage, and knowledge for present and future generations.

Memorials

Donations may be given in honor or memory of someone special to you; an inspiring person, teacher, mentor, colleague, friend, relative, or loved one.

Matching Gift Programs

Ask your employer about matching contributions. Many employers offer a matching gift program for charitable giving. Some may even double your personal donation. Your employer can also assist by encouraging other employees to support the North Carolina Preservation Consortium.

Corporate Donations

Businesses may also make direct donations. NCPC supports the preservation of vital business records and corporate archives. Contributions are an investment in your business's legal and historical documentation, and also demonstrates support for your community's educational and cultural institutions. Donations may have business tax benefits and sponsoring the North Carolina Preservation Consortium offers many public relations opportunities.

Recognizing Gifts

All donors will receive a letter of appreciation and updates on our preservation projects. Contributors will also be listed on our Preservation Legacy web page by level of giving. Gifts of $1,000 or more will be reported to news media and professional publications, with permission of the donor. Please contact us to discuss other recognition venues. Donations may also be made anonymously upon request.
